WARDOGS entered Early Access on 10 Sep 2026 and demand far outran the beta. Over 1 million copies sold within a day and roughly 338,000 concurrent players on launch day pushed the servers beyond their initial limits. BULKHEAD reacted by restarting the servers in controlled batches and releasing a 200+ MB client hotfix about an hour after the open, targeting failed server joins, mid-game kicks and extended queue times. By late on launch day the queue had cleared and the servers stabilised.
