How to Play WARDOGS: Rules, Objectives and Winning
WARDOGS is a King-of-the-Hill inspired FPS with a twist: three teams of up to 100 players fight over a randomized control zone on a huge destructible battlefield. This page explains the core rules so you understand what to do every match.
The objective
Inspired by King of the Hill, three teams fight for control of a randomized 2x2 km control zone within a larger map. The team with the most players inside the zone earns points. The first team to reach 100 points wins the match.
Each life, you choose
Every player starts with $10,000. Each life you purchase a custom loadout from weapons, gear, utility and vehicles to help your team win. Because the zone is randomized and player tactics vary, no match ever plays the same.
Cash and XP progression
Cash and XP reward every action. Teamplay pays: reviving squadmates, transporting friendlies to the zone, or holding the objective. Cash persists from match to match, so spending big at the right moment can turn a battle.
Communication matters
WARDOGS is built around proximity voice chat — talk tactics with teammates or distract enemies. This is not another battle royale or extraction shooter; it rewards decisions, communication and teamwork.
Destruction and building
The battlefield reacts to you: destroy apartment blocks with rocket launchers, tear through towns in armoured tanks, or build and fortify key locations for a tactical advantage.
